    Description

This is an amazing historic resource and an invaluable reference tool for the gunsmith, re-enactor, cowboy action shooter or blackpowder enthusiast! This package contains LARGE format 24 x 36 photocopies of blueprints for the legendary 1874 Sharps Rifle. This is the rifle that was the basis for the rifle featured in the popular Tom Selleck movie “Quigley Down Under.” (the DVD pictured is only for reference and is not part of this auction). These are NOT just dimensioned drawings of part of the gun. These are 9 giant pages of detailed blueprints for every part in the gun, including the receiver, barrel, barrel block, extractor, finger lever, finger lever pin, finger lever spring, finger lever spring screw, plunger and springs, sidelock group, trigger plate group, breechblock, firing pin, buttstock, forearm, buttplate, etc. They are so detailed and fascinating that you could study these for hours. You might even consider framing them as a unique wall decoration. These are professionally reproduced on a large format copier to be clear and readable throughout. The pages are shipped rolled in a protective cardboard tube to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
NOTE TO EBAY: This listing conforms to all eBay rules. This is not a gun. These are only copies of historic documents. There are no gun parts for sale here.
