    Description

    This was purchased with a box lot of mixed items.  I thought it could be middle eastern, but it is initialed and dated as shown.  I'm not sure about the item's origin as it came with no history and was included with a number of other items.  I believe its a powder flask and it also appears to have a game bird motif on both sides.  The intials and date appear are consistent with the rest of the decoration on the flask.  There are some dents as shown and the spout is bit off center, but it appears to be a nice early powder flask.
