Our amazing 500E was modified in Japan by highly regarded Tuning shop called Azzure motoring. The car has been refinished in deep blue metallic stripped down and taken apart to bare metal and then resprayed to an OEM standard. The quality of the paint is fantastic as seen in the pictures available in the gallery and posted below. The 5.0-liter M119 V8 was factory rated at 322 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed 722 automatic transmission. The engine pulls strong and transmission shifts smoothly. Engine and transmission have reportedly been rebuilt as well as the engine harness. We recently went and had the car serviced with a full tune up including new rotor and cap, all new spark plugs new wires and new rotor and cap with reciepts. The car has been tuned and feels really fast with precise and quick shifts. On top of the engine is a strut bar for increased rigidity and better handling. Exhaust has been upgraded cat back and sounds awesome. The car still maintains factory cats in the mid pipe as seen in the undercarriage photos below. Bottom is rust free and shows no corrosion. The floors are very nice even the jack points are all there and in good condition.
Body is in phenomenal condition body lines are straight there is no waviness in the doors and the factory widebody gives the car an incredible street presence. The car has been lowered with a custom adjustable setup. The rare and gorgeous 19 inch "Carlsson" model 1/16 wheels are finished in gloss black and compliment the exterior of the car very nicely. Behind the wheels on front and rear the factory brakes have been replaced and upgraded to Porsche Brembo big brakes with stainless steel braided lines. The result is a tremendous increase in stopping power and a look that is absolutely fantastic. This is a factory slick top ( no sunroof model ) which is quite uncommon in the production of these 500Es. The Mercedes emblem has been shaved off the hood and looks very clean. Trunk lock button also has been shaved and a trunk release was relocated in the gas tank. Taillights have been upgraded to LEDs and give the car a more updated appearance. Headlight and fog light bulbs have been also upgraded to HIDs.
Interior has been largely customized and it is an awesome place to be. Immediately upon opening the driver door you are greeted by Louis V suede door panels and seat bolsters. In the door sills of all 4 doors is a stainless steel AMG displayed. Entire headliner is now suede, even the sun visors are also Louis V. The trim has all been upgraded to a glossy marble finish and looks great. Most of these trims are usually cracked and beaten up these look fresh and very presentable. The center tray wood cabinet works and is not broken which is usually common. The steering wheel has been replaced and upgraded to a Raid Porsche steering wheel with Porsche crest valued roughly at around 00. Radio has been changed to a "eclipse" pop up double din screen with DVD compatibility. If purchased in USA it is suggested to change radio to be able to tune into American radio frequencies. Sound system upgrades also include a kicker subwoofer and amp cleanly mounted in the rear deck shelf. All power functions in the car work as they should including all windows, ice cold ac, functional heat and all seat adjustments.
