OVERVIEW
The Fortune Tormenta A/T FSR308 is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks and SUVs.
The tire upgrades the all terrain traction by using the tread design. The aggressive and unique tread block placement helps to enhance the on- and off-road grip. The staggered and larger block pattern, the wide grooves, the aggressive shoulder design and the open shoulder detail enhance the soft, loose and uneven terrain performance. These tread elements firmly grip the surface throughout the tire’s performance, optimizing the tire’s motion on deeper muddy and soft dirt terrains. The tire also keeps a clean footprint with the tread design. The wide grooves and staggered elements effectively disperse mud and snow and eject rocks stuck in the footprint. This not only optimizes the constant surface contact in order to boost the traction, but it also effectively protects the tire from stone retention.
The flat footprint and the reinforced internal structure work together to boost the controllability. The footprint with the ideal tread block placement upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In other words, the tire is quick and precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model. The strengthened sidewall structure, on the other hand, helps to maintain the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure. As the tire does not deform, it is able to securely carry and withstand heavy loads with ease, boosting the overall load capacity.
The model offers a longer lasting usability. The flat footprint and the alternating tread block detail work together to optimize the pressure distribution. The equally circulated forces of acceleration, cornering and braking actively resist irregular wear along the tread area. The aggressive shoulder detail and the stronger tire compound prevent tread damage. They manage to protect the tire from chipping, cracking and tearing, while also resisting other damage to the tread area and the casing during the tire’s off-road performance.
The Tormenta A/T FSR308 also ensures a comfortable on-road performance. The tread design’s special Dual Pitch design and the Pattern Noise Simulation technology effectively reduce the road and tread pattern noise heard in the vehicle’s cabin, during the on-road drive. These technologies negate the sound waves generated while the tires are in motion. Before the soundwaves can reach the vehicle’s cabin, they are cancelled out, resulting in a quiet and enjoyable driving experience.
