OVERVIEW
The Goodyear Assurance Triplemax is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.
The tire provides exceptional all weather traction. The asymmetric tread pattern and the special polymer tread compound work together to guarantee first-rate dry, wet and light winter weather road gripping ability. The polymer compound also helps boost the wet weather traction and, along with the circumferential grooves, effectively prevents hydroplaning situations by dispersing water and slush from below the tire footprint. The safer traction and excellent hydroplaning resistance ensure a safer driving experience all year.
The model offers excellent handling as well. The wider tire footprint maintains constant road contact which increases the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering becomes quick and precise to the driver’s instructions, while the tire’s shape is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it. The precise steering responsiveness allows the driver to confidently control the vehicle in all weather.
The braking and cornering abilities were also enhanced. The special HydroGrip technology provides larger tread block sipes that create friction at the moment of braking. In this way, even in wet weather, the tire is able to shorten its braking distance. The shoulder blocks of the tread pattern increase the cornering ability and power. They maintain road contact at all times and they promote additional biting edges during maneuvering that guarantee a more secure driving experience.
The Assurance Triplemax promotes a fuel efficient drive. The polymer tire compound’s remarkable road gripping ability lowers the tire’s rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the power affecting the tire that determines how much energy the vehicle needs to maintain the tire’s motion. The reduced rolling resistance effectively decreases the vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, making the tire more environmentally friendly and fuel conscious.
