Here is an original Belgian movie poster from the first release of Elia Kazan's filmed version of
Tennessee Williams' Pulitzer Prize winning play, A Streetcar Named Desire. The movie launched Marlon Brando's cinematic career and earned him the first of his four Academy Award nominations.
This poster is from the first release of the movie in Belgium in 1952. The artwork by WIK is unique to the Belgian release poster.

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN/SIZE: Belgium 14" x 19.75"
CONDITION:
Good to Very Good Trimmed condition. Top white border has been partially trimmed. Remnants of a theatre snipe that was once attached to top border leaving some ripple marks were the glue moistened the paper. A few minor tears in the surrounding white borders and a few extra folds. Overall slight yellowing to the paper. Originally folded as issued, this poster has been stored flat for the past 26 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.
