NOTE: This A1260 revlr. nipple wrench is a high quality, hardened wrench designed to remove nipples from properly maintained cylinders. Due to the small area available around the nipple; the walls of any revolver nipple wrench are limited to how thick they can be.
If you encounter a nipple that is exceptionally hard to remove
, soak the cylinder in a bath of "A1755" EZ CLEAN solvent (or equivelent) over night, lightly tap the nipple to free it and then remove. Do not use another tool to increase the leverage on the nipple wrench as it may cause permanent damage to the wrench. Always remove your nipples, inspect them, and grease the threads before firing your rev olver.
