    Description

    Up for auction is a pair of Audio Electronic Supply (AES) OPT-119 output transformers that I purchased new directly from AES in early 1994 for 0 total.  For twenty-five years I used these transformers in my primary hi-fi system in a pair of monaural 2A3 single-ended triode (SET) amplifiers that I built.  I was never disappointed with their performance!  But I have since moved away from that technology and no longer have an application for these transformers.
    AES was the DIY branch of Cary Audio in 1994 and that connection informed my decision to purchase these OPT's.
    If you are interested in rolling your own single 2A3 SET amplifiers I commend to you these output transformers.  They are made for that purpose with the necessary air gap and impedance ratio (4 and 8 Ohm secondaries).

    I am offering a guarantee (see terms elsewhere) for domestic purchasers.  However if they are returned damaged or with the leads further trimmed I will be very disappointed with you.  Note, I cut the leads to length for my application; I recommend you not trim them any shorter until you are fully confident they are working for you!
