Next up is this stunning original Belgian movie poster from the first release of John Huston's masterwork of film noir,
The Asphalt Jungle
. The movie starred Sterling Hayden, Louis Calhern, Sam Jaffe and Jean Hagen in a gritty story of a heist gone wrong. Marilyn Monroe had a small role in this film, but she made a big impression with the audience. This poster features striking artwork of Marilyn in a red dress. This poster is from the 1st release of the film in March 1951 and the artwork is unique to the Belgian release poster. It has been mounted on thick conservation paper and will be shipped securely in a sturdy, wide tube. A great addition to anyone's Marilyn Monroe movie poster collection.

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN/SIZE: Belgium  14.25" x 19.25";  15.5" x 20.5" (on paper)
CONDITION:
Very Good Condition On Paper.  Prior to backing, poster was folded as originally issued and displayed some slight overall yellowing. There is a small ink splatter stain in the artwork area by Marilyn's lap. There is also an ink stamp in the lower right. This poster has been stored flat for over 20 years and will be shipped loosely rolled in a wide, sturdy tube.
