Beautiful Dated 1815 Native American Carved Scrimshaw - Translucent Powder HornDescription
At offer is a 12" (measured around the outside curve) Civil War Era American Powder Horn with period brass studs along the bottom rim. The strap stud on the bottom appears to be from an oil lamp and is marked "Homes, Booth & Haydens" who manufactured oil lamps from the early 1850's. This horn came from a nice collection of antique powder horns, several of which I will be adding to my Ebay Store over the next several days.
