    Pretty  little day horn that will look nice with some carving.
    It has some scrimshaw areas. The base is slightly oval with a thick side that would need quite a bit of sanding if you wanted to round the base.
    Our cow horns are suitable for the colonial time period through the Rocky Mountain Fur Trade era. The longhorn breed was not used by the Colonials or mountain men.

    Horns are polished cow horns from free-range steers. The beef cows have adequate water and grass, therefore, avoiding air bubbles and laminations. Of course, if you discover a defect after you start working on the horn, I will refund all of your money.
