    Description

Four Antique Print Frames – Eastman Kodak +++ [SE] • From a collection started around fifty years ago. • Classic darkroom equipment often used as photo frames today. • Four different print frames. • Nicely made wood frames. • The largest, and only one with glass is 8”x6” for a 5x7 print. from Eastman Kodak. • The next largest one has no information of any sort on it. The back shows two hinges and two spring clips. It’s about 7.5” x 6” for a 4.5” x 6” print. • The next one in size has a ratchet counter on the back. I’m not sure what it was used for as it simply has numbers from 1-12 on it. The back also has a Pat. Date of Aug. 12, 1890. On the frame is stamped PAT APPLD FOR. The construction is identical to a Blair frame, including the ratchet counter. It’s about 7 7/8” x 5 7/8” for a 4” x 5” print. • The smallest one has an aluminum frame put into for making wallet sized prints from negatives of that size. The plate is easily removable. It is the one with the Pierce & Co. sticker on the side. A small part of the sticker fell off when I picked it up. It’s about 5” x 6” for a 4” x 5” print. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING. IMPORTANT: My items are sold as described. Photos are part of the description. If your questions are not answered by the description, ask. If you ask a question answered by the description, I’ll ask you to read it. If you hope the item is better than described, wonderful, just don’t expect it. Please ask questions before bidding. I am happy to combine shipping. NOTE: If you are bidding on more than one of my auctions, wait until all have closed and I send you a combined invoice to save you shipping costs. SHIPPING: Shipping in the United States with Tracking is .95. International shipments: None until the rest of the world decides to accept mailed packages from the USA. Refund Policy: Items that are not as described will result in a refund of the bid amount upon return of the item in the condition in which it was shipped. This does not apply to finding a small scratch when the description says minor surface wear or similar issues. If a package is damaged in transit, and if it was insured, the buyer must cooperate in filing the insurance claim (not a big deal). The box and packing material must be kept and available for the post office if an item is insured and damaged in transit. If an issue is not addressed in the description (I attempt to provide comprehensive descriptions) or if the bidder doesn’t understand the description and he or she did not ask a question about it, no refund will be made. Note: if the Post Office damages an item and still delivers it, it will refund only the bid amount and not the postage. I will not make up the difference. Please ask questions before bidding.
