    Description

    General Radio Variac VB-2 Carbon Brush Assembly
    Fits Variac models M-5, W-5, W5L, W5MT3, W5MT3A, V5
    This is a genuine NEW General Radio Part, each has the Trademark and VB-2 part number on the end, and is shipped in the original sealed plastic package. I personally have several of the Variac models highlighted in this listing.
    The part is easily replaced by gently pushing the outer flange down and rotating until the flange detents clear the support posts. The entire brush assembly can then be lifted out of its mounting hole. Please note that some models use an external retaining spring (not included) while others do not. This external spring is not a wear item and can be reused with your new VB-2 replacement brush assembly.
