GUSDORF VINTAGE TV STAND 1970s RETRO WALNUT & WICKER CANE FOR 19" TELEVISION SET

Description

This Gusdorf vintage TV stand model 4805 was sold from 1979 up until at least 1982. One of its original advertisements describes this "Cane and Walnut Tone Television Furniture" as a "beautiful breakthrough in Electronics Furniture design and will accommodate virtually any 19" Color TV cabinet". It measures 30"W x 16"D and sits 26" in total height. The frame is wrapped in a faux walnut vinyl veneer, and the shelves are covered in a quintessential turn-of-the-80s woven wicker cane finish. The back legs are missing some little plastic trim pieces around the bottom of the leg (above the caster wheels), but is otherwise in excellent cosmetic condition. One of the casters has a loose wheel. The other wheel is fine, and when stationary, the loose one looks and works perfectly, but it usually comes off when you roll the stand around. The stand is thoroughly cleaned and ready to use. It will be partially dismantled for safer and more affordable shipping. Reassembly is easy, but you will need a hex / allen wrench for the four bolts (last photo shows dismantled shelf to reference for assembly).
