    Description

    Hand painted papier mache snuff box, circa 19th Century.
    The snuff box depicts a jaunty gentleman, probably a soldier,  with a waistcoat and hat and a red scarf, standing in a  forested landscape.
    The box is in good condition, with no chips or cracks, just a bit of scuffing on the bottom rim.  The painted scene has crazing and some chipping.  Measures 2 3/16" diameter x 5/8" high.
