There is a long tear that extends approx. 12 inches into the poster from the top left border to the seat of Charlie's overalls which has been repaired on the reverse with paper tape. Please see photos. Despite this defect, the poster presents very well. Originally folded as issued, this poster has been stored flat for over 20 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.

    Next up is this striking original Belgian movie poster from the second re-release of Charlie Chaplin's classic 1936 ode to the working man,
    Modern Times,
    starring Chaplin in his final appearance as The Tramp. Paulette Goddard and Chester Conklin costar in a film that is considered my many as Chaplin's masterpiece. This is believed to be from a 1954 Belgian rerelease of the film and also commemorates the 35th anniversary of United Artists which was co-founded by Chaplin. In spite of it's flaws (see below description) this poster really looks fantastic and rarely comes up for sale or auction.

    CONDITION: Good to Very Good Condition. Untrimmed.
