For sale is one
NOS NIB Pair of Ultra Rare Thermador TG-310 1000H Choke Inductor Transformer Tube Preamplier as Seen In the Pictures! Pictures are of the actual transformers you will receive!
They were made in the 1950s and have stored in the original boxes since then.
They are very nice and very high quality
chokes inductors for tube plate or anode choke in tube preamplifier design.
Both boxes are very clean and well preserved. The transformers are wrapped in plastic and kraft paper since they were made. It is super rare to see Thermador output transformers! There is only one connection diagram comes inside the box.
The inductance is quoted at 1000H with about 12K ohm DCR or 250H with about 3K ohm DCR according to the spec sheet.
These choke can be wired for 1000H or 250H depending on the current you need. I don't know the current ratings but my guess is it'll be up anywhere from 5mA to 20mA depending on how you configure them.
Each choke weights about 1.4lbs.
