Here is an original Belgian movie poster from the 1st release of John Sturges' intimate adventure film,
The Old Man And The Sea
. Adapted from the Hemingway novel, Spencer Tracy plays a Cuban lifelong fisherman, now an old man, who's dry spell is broken when he hooks a gigantic fish that drags him out to sea. The film has been called "the most literal, word-for-word rendition of a story ever filmed".
This  poster is from the first release of the
movie in Belgium in 1958. It features beautiful artwork of Tracy.

CONDITION:
Very Good Untrimmed Folded Condition. Untrimmed top white border has two pieces of cello tape that have bled through the paper. Four small pinholes in the corners of the surrounding borders. Some small tears and paper crinkling in the right border. Artwork is vivid and completely intact. Originally folded as issued, this poster has been stored flat for the past 16 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.
