    Description

[Patents]. A COLLECTION OF PATENTS FOR PHOTOGRAPHIC APPARATUS AND FILMS. An interesting group of 23 documents from 17 countries, to Charles Francis Jones of San Francisco, offering patent protection, first in his name, then in the company name "Colorco," for a method of making color film for both still and motion pictures and for the manufacture of cameras to project such film.
The letters of patent come from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. They date from 1916 to 1922 and come with an array of official seals and stamps. Mostly 13 x 8 1/2 inches. Generally in fine condition. (#1536).
