    Description

    Primitive early powder horn. Looks like it would have had a single strap around the top, from which the horn would have hung. Notice that the small nails holding the pine wood bottom in place are of the handmade, square variety. There are several old worm holes in the horn. Wonderful original patina. A nice piece, possibly from New England. Measures 6" long.
