    Description

    PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS CAREFULLY
    I try to take good
photos of the items I am selling, and the photos are part of the description.  What you see is exactly what you get.
This is a nice phono SUT that I built with some excellent vintage input transformers made by the Triad Transformer Corp.  These are potted input transformers that were built to the highest standard -- they have
    gold-plated pins!
They're absolutely unbeatable from a quality standpoint and you'd be hard-pressed to find this quality today.  This particular pair is also highly unusual and perhaps quite rare -- I have never seen another pair exactly like them.
These transformers have the following specs:
250 ohm primary to a "GRID" secondary (probably ~50Kohm to ~70Kohm?)
This equates to a ~1:14 step up ratio, good for many Low Output Moving Coil (LOMC) cartridges.
Highly desirable among audiophiles for SUT use.
This SUT is entirely handcrafted by me.  I used high quality parts throughout:
    pure copper wire
    teflon wire insulation
    cast aluminum enclosure
    stainless steel fasteners
    high quality RCA jacks
    Belton USA transformer sockets
    NOS vintage ground lug
Functionality vs. Musicality - please read!
I have built many Step Up Transformer boxes like this over the years, using many different kinds of vintage transformers from Altec, Partridge, UTC, Peerless, Jorgen Schou, RCA, Freed and more, so
    I guarantee
    this SUT will
    function properly
; the transformers have no shorts, it is wired correctly and it will provide a ~1:14 (or so) step up function for your LOMC cartridge.
I have personally tested this in my system with a Denon DL-103 cartridge.  It worked well and I liked the sound, but it may perform differently in your system so I
    cannot guarantee
it's sonic superiority or musicality.  I make no claims of angels descending and HiFi rapture.
