    Affer Constantine was born in 1906 in Milan. He studied at the School of social humanitarian and then at the school of Brera, alternating the study at work. Engraver, sculptor, but especially a medalist, he made his debut with a solo exhibition in 1940, and participated in important competitions and events in various Italian cities. Since 1953 he has been present at all national and international exhibitions of art medals. He was for many years responsible artist in the factory Lorioli Fratelli di Milano. His medals production, very large, ranges from the sports field to the religious one, from the civil to the military and industrial, and includes important commissions. He created the models of the official medal for the 7th Olympic Winter Games in Cortina D'Ampezzo. He has performed busts and bas-reliefs placed in buildings and sports fields of the city of Milan and large and small sculptures for private individuals. Several of his works are exhibited in museums, including the Oslo Museum, the Sheffield Museum, the Moscow Aeronautical Museum. He died in Milan in May 1987
