    Description

    Vintage 'M. Klein & Sons' 16" Tree or Pole climbing Spikes. They are 16" L and have 4 1/2' Gaffs. Both have initials 'F. E.' engraved on the outside. Both are marked 'M. Klein & Sons 16' with what looks like a star. The lines under the 1 and 6 are engraved lines they are not cracks. Both show some light tarnishing and some light surface type rusting. Both are '16" L from top the bottom' and weigh as a pair '3 1/2 lbs'. These are just the steel shafts and do not have any pads or straps. Both look to be usable to me, but I am selling as 'Collectibles'. These are some very nice 'M. Klein & Sons' or 'Tree/Pole Climbing Spikes' (see pictures).
