Vintage/ Retro Hard Shipping Case w/ strap

I do not know the age of this item but I would
guess
this is from the late 40's or 50's.
The container itself, all corner reinforcements and the  address mailing window are completely intact.
Strap has some
wear but still buckles securely. Distressing on item adds great appeal.
Measurements are
: 8'x 7-3/4" x 2"
Color
: Army Green/Brown
w/ black strap & black reinforcement edges & window for mailing address or name filing.
Case is made of some type of hard fiber
but I do not know the content.
Inside of container is nice & clean.
This is a great decorator/collector piece for the vintage movie buff and would look great hanging on a wall, in a display cabinet or in a large shadowbox.
