    Description

    Vintage Thordarson 1A55 Tru Fidelity single ended tube output transformer. Single plate to multiple line. 10k:500/333/250/200/125/50 (12AU7, 12AT7, 6SN7 etc), 4ma unbalanced DC in primary. From the "Bantam" series of mid-sized Tru Fidelity transformers. See photos for catalog details. Note that "+10dB" doesn't mean dBm or dBu, nor does it mean what it means today. This refers to the old pre-1939 "standard" (before the VU standard was defined) of 0 dB = 6mW into 500 ohms. In power terms, max level would be closer to +18 dBm.
