vintage UTAH 8776A 18 watt UNIVERSAL AUDIO OUTPUT TRANSFORMER for 2A3, 6L6, 6A3

Description

This auction is for a vintage,  18 WATT,  UNIVERSAL AUDIO OUTPUT TRANSFORMER made by the Utah Radio Products Company.   The center tapped primary will match from 2000 ohms up to 18,000 ohms for a two tube amplifier.   The secondary will match voice coils from roughly 1 ohm up to 50 ohms, depending on what the primary impedance is.   There is also a tap on the primary at 500 ohms so that this transformer can be used as a matching transformer between 500 ohm line and voice coils from .25 up to 15 ohms.
The windings have continuity.  I have listed this as "used" but it may be new.   Hard to tell for sure. The original instruction sheet is also included.
Take a good look at the pictures as they give a much better description than words can.   The tape measure shown in the pictures is NOT included in the auction.  It is assumed than anyone buying this transformer has the appropriate knowledge for safely working with high voltage circuits.   Although this transformer tests fine,  I have no control over how it may be used by others.   Like all vintage electronics, this transformer can fail if improperly wired.   Therefore,  it is being offered for sale AS IS with NO RETURNS.  If you have any questions, please ask them before bidding.  Shipping will be by insured priority mail for a flat rate of .95 anywhere within the United States.  Overseas shipping goes through the eBay global shipping program.  Local pickup is always welcome and free.
