from the classic 1950's New Orleans-themed adventure drama,
ADVENTURES OF CAPTAIN FABIAN
, released in 1951 in the US by Republic Pictures and
directed by William Marshall
. Featuring a screenplay by Errol Flynn, a sea captain (Errol Flynn) becomes involved with a servant girl (Micheline Presle) in early New Orleans. She sees him as a way to gain access into wealthy households. The cast includes Vincent Price, Agnes Moorehead, and Victor Francen.
This colorful poster was issued for the film's original theatrical release in Belgium and features beautiful artwork of

, and others. Unrestored, it has one horizontal fold and is in fair condition only. The customary tax stamp has been affixed to the poster above the title; there are chips and area of paper loss of varying sizes, tears, and creases along the edges; four vertical tears of varying sizes across the center foldline (one of which was reinforced with clear Scotch tape on the verso); and some small scattered creases from handling over time. The rich color tints are fresh and vibrant without any signs of fading. This small-format poster can easily be linen-backed with minor restoration to correct the above items mentioned.
