This is a vintage original 13.5 x 30 in. Australian daybill poster from the classic Walt Disney animated feature film,
SLEEPING BEAUTY
, released in 1959. This poster is for the film's 1970 re-release by Buena Vista as indicated in the top of the bottom third. The artwork is fantastic and depicts a sleeping Princess Aurora about to receive a kiss from Prince Phillip as they are menaced by Maleficent, who is hovering above them surrounded by a jet-black background with what looks like flames shooting our from her. The bottom panel depicts a man fighting a fire-breathing dragon with a castle in the background as the three fairies hover nearby.
Folded as originally issued, this vintage original Australian daybill poster appears to never have been used. It is in very fine+ condition without any pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws.
